Job brief

We are in the throes of scaling and are looking for a strategic and dynamic HR Director to join our company and shape and structure our Global HR function as we grow. The ideal candidate will have experience spanning from Workforce Planning, Organisation Design to Employment Law as well as solid generalist knowledge of all HR Subjects; plenty of energy and ideas and a thirst to make their mark by playing a key role in a growing company.

  • You will report to the CEO and work as part of the Senior Leadership team with support from regional HR managers.

Responsibilities

  • Work across all functions to set and deliver the people strategy and agenda for the Group. This will be aligned with the business and help to deliver commercial growth.
  • Managing and liaising with existing HR managers across regions
  • Managing and liaising with existing HR managers across regions
  • Develop and implement key programmes across Talent and Performance
  • Align Workforce Planning and Organisation Design to support the commercial strategy
  • Implement organisation change initiatives to evolve business maturity and effectiveness
  • Develop and manage HR policies and procedures to drive performance and employee satisfaction.
  • Implement learning and development initiatives.
  • Manage employee appraisal and feedback processes.
  • Work with appropriate parties on regional reward strategy.
  • Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager in an international, start-up environment (ideally software / tech)
  • HR subject matter expertise, holding CIPD Level 7
  • A demonstrable and successful background within Organisation Effectiveness and Business Partnering at a senior level
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on, to work at pace and to use data to make informed decisions in the people arena
  • Ability to build HR function from the ground-up
  • Ability to deal with a multicultural workforce
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Experience of implementing HR best practice and complementary systems
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law in one jurisdiction and ability to identify potential issues and seek advice as needed with respect to other jurisdictions
