Singapore, 2 April 2020 – RegTech startup Nexus FrontierTech today announced the appointment of David Hardoon, former Chief Data Officer and Special Advisor (Artificial Intelligence) of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, as an independent advisor of the firm.
At the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Hardoon led the development of AI strategy for Singapore’s financial sector, driving efforts in promoting open cross-border data flows. He was MAS’ first appointed Chief Data Officer and Head of Data Analytics Group. He currently advises Singapore’s Corrupt Investigation Practices Bureau (CPIB) and the Central Provident Fund Board (CPF) as Senior Advisor (Artificial Intelligence) and Senior Advisor (Data Science) respectively.

As part of the Senior Advisory Board, Hardoon will provide counsel in the area of organisational growth and development and strategy.

David holds a PhD in Computer Science in the field of Machine Learning from the University of Southampton and graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with First Class Honors B.Sc. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
