Nexus FrontierTech recently had the pleasure of participating in the “Industry Talk & Networking: Code Your Tech Careers” event, hosted at the British University Vietnam (BUV) Ecopark Campus.

Representing Nexus at the event was Ms. Thu Ngan, Hiring Manager, who joined as a guest speaker to share her professional journey into the world of technology. Her talk offered practical guidance to students preparing for careers in tech — from how to stand out as a fresh graduate, to developing essential skill sets and navigating the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence in Vietnam.

In addition to her talk, Ms. Ngan also took part in an engaging mock recruitment activity, where students collaborated to design the profile of an “ideal intern.” Drawing from her experience in recruitment, she provided valuable feedback and shared insights into how companies like Nexus evaluate potential candidates — looking beyond just academic qualifications to qualities such as adaptability, curiosity, and cultural fit.
